In this video, Lilo discusses Frostpunk Review – First Impressions!

Frostpunk is a recent survival, city building game that came out April 24, 2018. It is developed and released by 11-bit studios. Within 66 hours Frostpunk sold over 250k copies. This is a PC game, only out for Windows operating system.

The game takes place in the 1800s, after a global cooldown. Most of the population is non-existent and the world is a frozen wasteland. You play as the leader of a group of survivors. The goal is to build a functioning city without losing too many citizens or getting overthrown. To win, you must build a city and enact morally difficult laws.

Frostpunk has very positive reviews from IGN, Steam, Gamespot, PC gamer, and more. It is a visually stunning and enthralling game. This game is good for seasoned strategy gamers and those new to the genre.

The developers have promised more expansions and scenarios in the future.

Frostpunk is a harrowing depiction of human nature but I’m down with it. I find its grim atmosphere engaging but its premise may be too depressing for some gamers. It’s poor replay value may cost the game down the line, too.

Although the plot is not very revolutionary, this looks like a fun game. The graphics are cool too, and it actually seems pretty addictive – I really like building stuff.
