I’m simultaneously surprised it’s already mid-February and also amazed it’s only two months into 2018. I think I’ve finally lost all sense of time. Oh, well. Can’t have everything! Probably been playing too many games. If that’s such a thing. Hopefully not because I’ve got a good selection of game sale for this weekend. Console games, computer games, and even mobile games! I’m always happy when some mobile gaming bundles are out there.

Let me start with mobile games since I’m so excited about them. Humble has another mobile bundle, and it’s running for about ten more days. There are some pretty good games on the list, but be forewarned, it’s only for Android. Game good in general, not even just for mobile. Check out the bundle options here. There are three tiers. The first tier you pay one dollar and get three games–Splitter Critters, Galaxy of Pen & Paper, and Star Vikings Forever. The next tier price changes to whatever the average is. Right now it’s hanging close to five dollars. You will get all the first tier games and three more–Oxenfree, Mushroom 11, and Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story. Finally, there is the third tier that costs $5. You get all the games I’ve already mentioned as well as Party Hard GO and Death Road to Canada. This is $45 worth of games altogether. If you are looking for some quality mobile games to pick up, then a bundle is an excellent way to go. This one indeed isn’t bad considering some of the big names that stick out (Oxenfree and Galaxy of Pen & Paper).

Alright, let’s get to the computer gaming deals going on this weekend. GOG is running a horror sale with games up to 90% off. Here is the sale homepage. There are some great games on the list. One being SOMA, which is regularly $30 but is $7.49 for this sale. SOMA is science fiction, survival horror game that originally came out in 2015. It’s got an impressive 10/10 on Steam. Hard West is another highlight that regularly costs $20 but is going for $5. This is a turned-based tactical game from 2015. This is a western with a supernatural edge, taking influence from XCOM: Enemy Unknown. There’s a nice handful of other games to check out though, so look at the full list if this sale is up your alley.

This weekend has a lot going for it for the Civilization series. First of all, it’s a free weekend. That means you can play Civilization VI (the newest Civ) for free only this weekend only. If you want to buy it, Steam is selling it half off. That means it’s $30 unless you want the deluxe edition which is $40.

Now just Steam is having a Civ sale though. Gamebillet is offering Civilization IV: The Complete Edition for a mere $3.59, which is 88% off.

Going back to Steam, they are also running a big sale titled Play Anime, which involves a bunch of Bandai Namco games. Here is the sale’s homepage. This deal includes Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 and 2, three games from the Tales franchise, Naruto games, Sword Art Online, .hack//G.U. Last Recode, God Eater 2 Rage Burst, One Piece games, and Saint Seiya: Soldiers’ Soul. The games are up to 75% off. If I had to recommend any, I’d push for the Tales games. They are nice Japanese role-play games that I’ve enjoyed. It’s not turned based. Its only downfall is it’s pretty slow for some people. Little too upbeat I suppose.

PlayStation and Xbox are also making this Play Anime sale. These aren’t the only games on sale for PlayStation or Xbox.

Here is the homepage for current PlayStation gaming deals. There are apparently about 340 games on sale right now, including the Anime ones. There are also some good newer ones, like Assassin’s Creed Origins 33% off, Ghost Recon Wildlands – Gold Edition 60% off, Watch Dogs 2 – Gold Edition also 60% off, Fifa 18 50% off, and obviously a whole load more.

Xbox also has it’s fair share of sales this weekend. A big one is Okami HD, which is also on sale on Steam. Both for Xbox and Steam it is 30% off, costing $14. This action-adventure game won IGN’s Game of the Year in 2006 when it first came out. this is a very artistic game all about Japanese folklore. It has a 9/10 on Steam and a 9.4/10 on IGN.

The Xbox Marketplace is running other gaming deals as well. Here is a nice list of all the Xbox One and 360 games on sale this weekend. You do need Xbox Gold to get these gaming deals. There are the Anime games and others such as Farcry 4, Sims 4, a fair amount of Tom Clancy games, and more.

Now you guys, let me end this with a reminder of Saljack’s competition. We are in the last week of the month-long competition for a $150 gift card to Amazon.
