The Lilo-log #41: Super Fun Steam Awards. Presented by Saljack Enterprises. Gaming. Animation. Media. Entertainment. Woman Owned.

In this video, Lilo discusses Super Fun Steam Awards given to video games recently!

Here is how the Steam Awards are selected:

1.) Valve chooses some categories, atypical of those used in gaming awards, and allows any registered Steam user to choose one game available on Steam for that category.
2.) Valve also permits each user to submit their voting category, along with their nomination for it.
3.) Valve subsequently reviews the nominations. Valve selects the five top games for final voting and then evaluates the user-defined categories to choose a number that represents the most-frequently suggested ones, and the top five games nominated for those.
4.) These choices are presented to the Steam community where each user has the chance to vote for one of the five proposed games in each category.
5.) Following this, they announce the winners.

Our monthly competition #5 has started and will be ending on 02/15/2018. On 02/16/2018, one random lucky winner, selected by an independent party from all the months’ participants, will receive a $150 Amazon eGiftcard by email after confirmation.

I know there’s annual steam awards, but I didn’t know about this one. Super Fun Steam Awards. That’s fresh out from the shelf. Love it!

The Super Fun Steam Awards really sounds fun! I am sure the gamers and those who are interested in video games would like to participate in this. Good luck to those who participate in the monthly competition.

I like the idea of giving awards like this. It adds more fun and excitement to the gaming community.

  6. moondebi says:

This is like selecting the most preferred games depending on voting and the liking of the users. Hmm.. must say that it’s an intelligent way to know the popularity of a certain game. Smart move indeed!

  7. lawvingit says:

I am not so familiar with the titles. Nonetheless, I like the fact that the audience can vote. It looks fun and very participatory.:)

  8. Era says:

Looks interesting! Might as well join the voting just for the sake of having fun. Though, most of these games are unfamiliar to me.

  9. Edwin Kamau says:

This award is so different from the normal once. Different names for titles and even more funny.

  10. David Kamau says:

Funny categories for the awards. Like that one, “No apologies”.

  11. Rubie says:

It’s great that there are award bodies too for video games and gamers like are also given an opportunity to participate. In a way this also helps in the marketing of the best games.

  12. Kathleen says:

Looks like a spoof game awards to me. It’s still nice though because users vote and its an acknowledgement to the best games out there.

  13. kittyprydexmen says:

Tell me about it . IT is almost like a spoof of the other game awards. It can even be a parody of itself? Either way it is fun.

  14. nightcrawlerxmen says:

I am not familiar with these titles to be honest. This awarding body is a bit weird to me to be honest.
