So awful. Totally not funny. Whoever did it should be punished.
Am still on the competition and keeping up with it. Thanks for reminding us Lilo.
It’s quite sad to see this in gaming industry. It’s really sad to see this happening for gamers and others in general.
Whoever does this should a fine or penalty. This is not even funny. I can consider this as an harassment and threat to safety. Police or SWAT members or just everyone should be respected and don’t do something that will put them in danger.
Totally agree with you Lilo Nash. It’s absolutely not to be taken as a prank. This is dangerous and you’re putting a lot of people at risk.
I think it is unfortunate that someone should lose life because of a sick joke from very unhealthy minds. People should really value life. I am sad.
This is just terrible! Some people just need to know common sense and stuff about not harming other people and themselves. Gosh thanks Lilo for this eye opener!
That’s really terrible!! I can’t imagine how people can create fake calls or make those pranks that cause such a serious outcome. It is so sad to hear about the 28 year old man. Yes, I think this swatting issue should really be looked into seriously and hope there won’t be happening anymore.
That’s a really sad story. Hopefully people will think twice before swatting again after the events that just unfolded.
I feel bad for the 28 year old man. It is unfortunate he had to die because other people thought it would be funny.
It’s quite hard to catch people who do crimes online. I hope things like this will come to an end. We don’t want another person dying.:(
I cannot remember what year it was nor the game but this is real. A game developer added real life mechanics to his game that it was made to look like taken from a top secret installation. That was not a prank but still it made the headlines.
Thank you for reminding us that some jokes are not funny. They have consequences and we don’t want jokes to come at the expense of someone’s life.:(
