  1. When it comes to talking about games, I don’t have a problem with that considering I love to talk about them anyway. What I have a hard time with is the writing/speaking part. Like how to formulate a good article that concisely talks about each topic without turning into a jumbled mess haha.

  2. Albeneth says:

This is a very interesting post. I believe that to become a Video game writer is not a piece of cake. This takes time to become knowledgeable of what you will be doing, so training and commitment is a must.

  3. mchesk16 says:

Interesting that there are so many roles involved with the development. Definitely a good idea to spread out the work so one person doesn’t have too much to take on. Thanks for the read!

  4. roberachi says:

I think the idea of the game you want to write must be kind of unique. Or rather if not unique it must not be like a modification of a well-known game story because it will just not stand out.

  5. lordyou says:

Hard work is a must for anyone to get into any industry. I doubt if the gaming industry is an exception to this fact. I love to game but writing is a whole new thing.

  6. If you wanted to be a game writer, you would have to have your own personality to make it interesting and it’s something you have to be committed to. Being in game writing career doesn’t happen overnight.

  7. Edwin Kamau says:

You need to have the idea before going into writing for gaming. Without the idea, you are more likely not to impress the audience.

  8. David Kamau says:

It’s pretty hard to start in gaming industry. But it’s not impossible like how you said. You need to work hard.

  9. alexsummers123 says:

So writing your own material may take some time? I guess that makes sense. Every journey starts with a single step I suppose.

  10. miakayuuki2012 says:

Gaming as an industry is vast and this just solidifies it. Game writing is not as easy as it looks.

  11. Mau says:

I agree Lilo — if you really want to get into the video game industry, then just go for any job that could help you get your foot inside the door. You’ll learn something about the industry no matter what position you fill up. Plus you’ll see if the industry is something you see yourself with in the long term.
