Lets just agree that a gamer is someone with a level of commitment to gaming, gender and age not withstanding. Of course knowing whats coming up is also a trait that cannot be overlooked. Great detailing Lilo

  2. kadoyatsukasa123 says:

I agree but not entirely. Nash is right though just because you play games in mobile does not mean you are a gamer in a real sense. Think of it this way most of us can drive but not everyone can race.

  3. amaterasu123 says:

Answer EVERYONE!!! Games whether what form it takes is part of life. What matters is the fun that one gets out of it.

  4. numberpardox says:

I don’t care on whatever way you want to define the word gamer. We all do love playing games and that’s already enough for me.

  5. Each of us have different definition for the word gamer. Some might consider your skill level others may not. And yep, I agree to those people who thinks the skill level must be consider.

  6. mchesk16 says:

Sounds like a great competition. It’s amazing how older generations are now so enticed with video-games. Maybe the research showing gaming’s intellectual benefits has had an impact on the average age.

  7. Really good points you make here! Anyone can call themselves a gamer, and I guess that the division of casual and hardcore gamers need to made more popular (but to be fair, the terms for each division can be a bit controversial in my opinion considering how much people get offended nowadays).

  8. Grecy Garcia says:

Half of the population of girls at work are playing games and I never realized that. I think, millennials are more virtually active than those who needs be active in sport..physically. But anyway both are interactive and enjoying.

  9. Hahaha Seriously? Yes, I have an aunt nearly 60 and is a gamer. She’s addicted to simple games (Bubble Witch Craft 2, Zuma and Candy Crush) on her cellphone. My other aunt is addicted to Tetris on her cellphone. They’re both legends!

  10. imkirsten12 says:

Honestly, I have no idea that 44 is the women gamer’s standard age. Thanks I learned something new interesting Lilo.

  11. Alma May says:

I don’t think there’s age limit to be a gamer. However, I am imagining myself playing COC at age 60 😛

  12. Haha who would’ve thought that there would still be gamers at an old age. The average age is 35. Well, I’m close to that number. Glad to know that I’m not alone! :))

  13. olliivvee says:

Wow! Average age for woman gamers is 44?! Really? That’s a surprise! I guess, games today knows no age nor gender boundary. It transcends to all mankind. Haha!

  14. micorobin says:

That happens as we outgrow a lot of things. However in most cases, once a gamer will always be a gamer.

  15. miakayuuki2012 says:

Gamers know no gender. However, I do not mind meeting a gamer chick, let alone dating one ha ha.

  16. Mau says:

I’m surprised about the average age of female gamers, not so much about the males’. I thought game playing wanes for females as one gets older (which is the case for me) but I’m obviously wrong!
