Lilo's Lair #32: 17 New Games Released This Week. Presented by Saljack Enterprises. Gaming. Animation. Media. Entertainment. Woman Owned.

I hope everyone is having a great week! If not, then maybe my blog post can cheer you up a little. This is another big week for game releases. That is why today I am going to share with you every game coming out this week. There are a total of seventeen games coming out just this week. There are PlayStation 4 games, Xbox One games, PC games, Switch games, 3DS games, games for your phones, kindles, and more. Some of these games may look familiar to you. That is because some of these games have already been out for a while, but are now available on a new system this week. The Nintendo Switch, in particular, is making a lot of already released games available in the Nintendo Game Store this week.


#1 Baja: Edge of Control (PS4, PS3, X360, XONE, PC)

Baja: Edge of Control is an off-road racing game that is coming out September 14 for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows. On September 22 it will also become available for Xbox 360 and the PS3.


#2 Dishonored: Death of the Outsider (PS4, XONE, PC)

This is the third installment in the Dishonored game series developed by Arkane Studio and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is an action-adventure stealth game. On September 15 it is available for Xbox One, PS4, and Windows.


#3 NBA Live 18 (PS4, XONE)

NBA Live 18 is a basketball video game published by EA Sports and is the 21st installment in the NBA Live Series. September 15th this game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


#4 Transcripted (PS4, XONE, PC)

Transcripted is a puzzle-action game with a biological theme that came out September 11th for Windows, Mac, and the PlayStation 4. So far it is receiving positive reviews. Apparently, this game came out on Steam back in 2012 but got taken down because of publishing agreement issues.


#5 Don’t Starve Together: Console Edition (XONE, PS4, PC)

This is a stand alone multiplayer expansion to the original Don’t Starve game. That means you do not need to own the original to play this one. This expansion has been available on PC and PS4 for a while now but has just now come out for Xbox One on September 13.


#6 Kingdom: New Lands (Switch, iPhone/iPad, XONE, PC)

This game has actually been out for a while but is just now available for Nintendo Switch the 14th of September. This is a retro side-scrolling game that is an exploration, adventure, strategy game.


#7 Semispheres (Switch, PS4, PC)

Semispheres is another game that has been out for a while but is just now coming to Switch on the 14th of September. This is a puzzle, strategy game.


#8 Beach Buggy Racing (PS4, XONE, Switch, iPhone/iPad, Android, Fire OS)

This is a new racing game releasing on September 16th for phones, Kindles, iPads, Xbox One, Switch, and PlayStation 4. That means that probably everyone can play it. It is free and this game is already out on most systems but is a new game for Switch this month.


#9 Pan-Pan A Tiny Big Adventure (PC, Switch, iPhone/iPad)

Pan-Pan is coming to Switch September 14th and is already available on Windows, Linux, and Mac. This is an adventure game with aspects of exploration and puzzles.


#10 Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! (PC)

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! Is a restaurant simulation game where you take orders, cook, and serve food to customers. It is now available for PC having released September 13th.


#11 The Land of Pain (PC)

The Land of Pain is a Lovecraftian horror adventure game that came out September 13th for PC. This game looks intense and is all about surviving against the evil lurking in the woods.


#12 Astral Traveler (PC)

This is the type of racing game where it’s about making it through the land, surviving things in your path, and shooting at enemies. This game came out September 13th for PC.


#13 Samurai Riot (PC)

Samurai Riot is an adventure game that came out September 13th for PC. It is a 2D game with a Beat ’em up arcade game all about–you guessed it–samurai.


#14 Legion Tale (PC)

Legion Tale is an action strategy game that is coming out for PC on the 15th of September.


#15 Earthlock: Festival of Magic (WII U, PC, PS4, XONE)

This is a role-playing video game that is releasing on Wii U September 14th. This game is already out on the computer, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.


#16 Percy’s Predicament Deluxe (3DS, 2DS XL)

Percy’s Predicament Deluxe is being released September 14th for the 3DS and 2DS XL. It is a puzzle, arcade, platform adventure game. This is a 2D game only.


#17 Metroid: Samus Returns (3DS)

Metroid: Samus Returns is an action-adventure game being released on the 15th of September for the 3DS. This game is a re-imagining of Metroid II: Return of Samus, the 1991 game for GameBoy.


Any games that stick out for you? I’m interested in trying out Beach Buggy Racing since I can get it free on my phone right now. I’m also really interested in the Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! and The Land of Pain.

  5. I wish they made Cook, Serve, Delicious 2 for iOS. 😦 There’s so many PC games I wanna try but I’m using an iOS. There’s got to be some cure to this.

    its nice that games for both pc and DS are reviewed , that way games to play while at home and outside can known. also, can’t wait to try out some of this game especially legion tales and metroid.
