Ky's Korner #57: Tournament Gaming... You Interested? Presented by Saljack Enterprises. Gaming. Animation. Media. Entertainment. Woman Owned.

Hey, friends!!

So, recently, we talked abut the big winner of FIFA 17, Corentin Chevrey, aka Vitality Rocky. We also discussed how lucky he is and awesome it would be to game professionally. Well… I guess I did most of the discussing but, I know were on the same page here. I recently came across a website that may actually help our dreams come true… Who knew anything like this was out there? I sure didn’t…

Worldgaming.com is the number one place to start out if you really are serious about professional gaming. Online tournaments can be found here for console playXbox One & PS4. Most of the current tournaments I saw are sports related, which is cool but you know me, I wanna play something else for the most part. Don’t get me wrong… If I for some reason got an offer to play one of the favorite sports games in a tournament… I’d totally be down, and I’d quickly master it… simply because I am always up for a challenge!!

I did notice that they have Mortal Kombat XL & Street Fighter V tournaments available now… that’s what I’m talking about! Most of the tournaments are free, but some have a considerably small entry fee, usually around $20 or so. Not too bad, I don’t think. Besides, if your that good, the payoff could be huge, we know this…

Digging a bit deeper into it, they have tournaments for Injustice 2, Uncharted 4 (What!? I’m so excited to compete playing Uncharted, just wondering how this would work..) Dota 2, Titan Fall 2 (YAY!), Killer Instinct (Oh, yeah, count me in!!), & UFC!! I’m so pumped right now, I’m ready to enter all of these tournaments just to see how I do… lol.

Did you all know that gaming competitively isn’t so far fetched? Did you all know that sites like this were available to us gamers who thought we could only dream of playing competitively? I’m so down for signing up for a few tournaments and hopefully playing with some of you guys… how totally awesome would that be? Let’s create teams and take the gaming world by storm.. who’s with me??!!

Now, I am interested to see what other sites we can find that offer a similar tournament experience… While worldgaming.com is absolutely fantastic, it can’t be the only site out there, can it? Let’s see!

Okay, yessss!!! Gamersaloon.com is another website that offers online tournaments… where have I been?? I am so excited about this!!

“Gamersaloon.com, where gamers play for real money,” That’s their motto, you guys. That is more than promising! Again, the entry fees are usually around $20, not bad at all… and $43 Million has been awarded to players since 2006. Ummm, what!?? I really need to catch up on all this! You can create your own challenges or search for open problems on the site, or challenge another player, either way, you report your results and get paid! Sign up is free… This couldn’t be an easier process friends!

Online tournaments on Gamersaloon.com right now include: Madden, FIFA (Of course), NBA 2K, NHL, Call Of Duty (Heck Yeah!), Rocket League, MLB The Show, 8 Ball Pool (I’m so playing this!!), CS:GO, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, Halo and so, so much more!!

So literally, there is something for every type of gamer! This is a win-win for all, it all depends on your skills, but there are plenty of chances to show them off. Do you have what it takes to win?? If you’re like me your willing to put yourself to the test just to find out.

Are you ready to go pro? I know I surely am, and I’m also sure through these online tourney’s is exactly all the big names got started. Winning these small tournaments can surely lead to bigger ones. It’s like anything else, if you win big, you move onto the next round and in most cases that would mean getting into the big leagues. You’ve gotta work to get where you need to be but, I have no doubt we can do this!!

Well, that’s all for today friends… Thanks so much for stopping by Ky’s Korner… Until tomorrow!!

I’m so down to enter the UFC and Street Fighter V tournaments, although watching would also be just as good since I love fighting games in general. I hope they come up with a Tekken 7 tournament though, the list here is kind of missing that big fighting game but I’m sure it will be added soon.

48 million had already been given, I should knew this earlier so that i take it seriously. I thought gaming is only for fun, something you find interesting to do and keep your excitement but I never thought this one is surely serious, just like cosplaying.
