What’s Up, Players?!
G’Day Gamer Guys & Gals!
Kallisto Ru here for a special WEEKEND edition of Ru’s Daily!
On Ru’s Daily, I usually reveal something new about me every week!
Since it is a special weekend edition I figure we can go little more in depth than we usually do!
What do you guys think?
This blog is going to be a “hodge-podge” of stuff about me all in one place.
So Let’s Goooooooo!!
So some of you have been asking about where I live and where I want to go next.
I currently live in Costa Rica, and it is a toss up on where I am going to go next!
Part of me wants to go to Spain, and besides the fact that it’s a beautiful country –
I mainly want to go to see the original Salvador Dali museum.
He is my favorite artist and I have already been blessed enough to visit his other museum in Clearwater, Florida.
But to go to the museum that he actually had a hand in creating would be incredible!
And of course, to visit his birthplace and places he would sit to paint and such!
Then again…another part of me is also nostalgic for the good ol’ U.S. of A!
(The part that wants to go back to the U.S. is the part that wants decent internet at a decent price…
But I digress!) 😀
I would consider going back to the U.S – only if I could have an R.V and continue to game and travel!
I’d be the traveling gamer for Saljack Enterprises!
I’ll be like Carmen Santiago! Where on earth will she be next?!
Then another part of me still – wants to go back to visit Asia!
But this time I want to spend at least 3 months there and really give myself a chance to be immersed in the culture.
Plus, with all the hair extensions, contacts and makeup that I buy – can you imagine the discounts I’d get when buying it directly from the source?
A cosplayers paradise!
But let’s get back to Central America!
If you haven’t read some of my past RUvealed blogs, I go a little bit into where I currently live and what brought me here, so be sure to check those out if you want to know more about me! 🙂
So as you can tell, I’m super adventurous and love to be spontaneous.
But there is also that part of me that wants to settle down on a farm with a bunch of animals and about 300 dogs.
I really am an enigma! It’s hard to figure me out! 🙂
But I think that is part of my charm.
I always like to keep people guessing!
Let’s see… what else can I tell you about me?
Well, there is something that I want to share with you, that happened to me about a month ago.
I hadn’t shared it on RUvealed yet because it was still just too painful and new.
I am to the place now where I can talk about it without sobbing, and that’s certainly progress…
But due to the fact that we had a bit more of a somber week this week with our coverage of deaths due to marathon gaming, I don’t want to end this weekend on a sad note!
So I can share it on next week’s RUvealed, if you all care to know about it.
I promised to put a smile on your face this weekend and I intend on keeping my promises.
So let’s end this blog with a funny story about your friend Kallisto Ru!
Remember I told you that I would have to go through a graveyard to reach my favorite park when I was a pre-teen?
Well ,I have a bunch of crazy stories about things that have happened on the way there, and back for that matter – and here is one of them!
So I decided to ride my bike through the graveyard one day instead of walking.
At one point without realizing it, I rode through a twisted mess of “brambles” or “spurs.”
I don’t know the scientific name for them, but they are those sharp, sticky, clingers that stick to your socks and shoelaces if you happen to accidentally find a patch.
(Comment below if you know what they are really called!)
Anyway, I inadvertently rode my bike through what seemed like miles on this tangled path and popped both of my bike tires on those monsters!
Then when I got off my bike to check on my tire, I inadvertently got covered in them!
So I try to start walking back.
(Try being the operative word!)
I’m pushing my bike with 2 popped tires and hundreds of these “spurs” in my socks, shoes, skin – all over!
So at some point, the pain crept up on me and I got light-headed and had to sit down.
And guess what I sat in?
More of those tiny machetes!
Long story short, I made it home after way longer than it normally took – of course.
But I made it home.
Because your girl Kallisto is not a quitter! 😀
I hope I succeeded in ending your week with a smile and hopefully a bit of a laugh at my expense!
I love you all so much!
Thank you for wanting to get to know more about me and tuning into my blog every day!
Hopefully, I will be tweeting this weekend, but I can’t make any promises because it is up to the wonderful contractors to show up and connect me!
Pray for me, y’all! 🙂
Love you and see you MONDAY for another blog about all things gaming!
