Young woman getting ready for The Gaming Diet

It seems that these days everywhere you look you can find the next great diet and exercise routine to sculpt yourself in to the chiseled muscle monkey you have always wanted to be. Some may work some may not but let’s face it most of us haven’t seen the outline of our abs for a while now and getting off the couch now and again certainly couldn’t hurt.

That being said the truth is I just really like gaming and my couch and I are tried and true companions. A companion I am not willing to cast away entirely. That is why I propose a new type of diet, The Gaming Diet.

The Gaming Diet is based on two very simple foundations: Moderation and Reward. The kid in all of us whether we want to admit it or not will always achieve more if we are assured a reward at the end for our efforts.

Technology has literally jumped the proverbial hurdle in recent years and the idea of a stationary, round white-faced gamer is quickly becoming a stereotype of the past as mobile gaming and console add-ons have allowed us to explore not only fantastical realms but also explore the real world.

Details of The Gaming Diet to follow on my next blog!

the Gaming Diet sounds like a good idea! Could go for quite a few folks who have to sit most of the time whether they want to or not.
